Training camp ends with a Blue Victory

The Boston Junior Rangers closed camp today with a victory from the Blue team 6-3. Both teams played a strong game with the score being 1-1 mid way through the first. The Blue team team struck late in the the first to go up 2-1 of a turn over in the corner and Greg Stoya picked up the lose puck and snapped the puck far side.

The Red team came out in the second determined to tie up the game but it was the Blue team that scored first off a 2 on 1 rush and Donaldson scored off a wrist shot over the goalies glove. Red came back and scored off a rebound goal from Dawson.

The third period started off a little slow. Then blue struck off a beautiful feed from Theodoulou to Donaldson who banged the puck into the open net to make it 4-2. Red team struck again to score a rebound goal. It was Blue team that took control from this point forward. The line of Theodoulou, Stoya, and Donaldson took control and scored 2 more times. They should be a fun line to watch this year.

With training camp coming to close the teams were divided into the EHL and MET clubs. Both teams will take a few days off and get pack at it with practice on Tuesday. Both teams will then head to Connecticut on Saturday to scrimmage the wolfpack. Then on Sunday the wolfpack head to Tewksbury to complete the home and home scrimmages.
